Post your Dream Kit

April 10th, 2009

Every day hundreds of people look through the shivadas catalog, dreaming of owning a piece by one of our artists. We’d like to start making our site a little more interactive, to involve some of our community members in discussion about glass art.

Post your Dream Kit in a comment to this entry.

Here’s mine to start us off:

The G10 - featuring an 8-arm tree percolatorMy dream kit is anchored by one of the burliest waterpipes in the shivadas line: The G10. I personally don’t need anything larger than this 13-inch tube, and the G10 is as thick as they can get, so it has an incredibly weighty feel in the hand. Its volume is plenty big for my lungs, especially when paired with an ashcatcher. The ashcatcher really helps keep a tube like this clean. It’s super-easy to rinse out a little ashcatcher, and when you have a waterpipe with multiple percolation chambers, it’s good to keep the gunk out of the main piece, if possible. A nightly rinse of an ashcatcher-protected waterpipe is pretty much all you need to keep your smoking experience fresh. Read the rest of this entry »
