We’ve ordered up a whole line of this model sherlock when we saw the prototypes. These are super cute, about 4.5 inches long, and high-quality. Check out Issa’s new cute sherlocks.

The limited edition category is going to see a lot of action real soon. We’ve got Bubblers, 18mm bowls, and a small collection of jars on deck for the next few hours. Almost every item is unique, so if you see something you like, snap it up!

Here is a sneak preview of a premium in-shop customization now available for our glass-on-glass waterpipes.

We were thinking about what makes up a dream kit recently, and something told us we needed to take our best glass on glass waterpipes to the next level. We now are offering custom worked downstem and bowl packages. We can craft these to fit all of our beaker-bottom waterpipes. Call or stay tuned for more information. This has been the first Shivadas Sneak Preview Friday.

Every day hundreds of people look through the shivadas catalog, dreaming of owning a piece by one of our artists. We’d like to start making our site a little more interactive, to involve some of our community members in discussion about glass art.

Here’s mine to start us off:

My dream kit is anchored by one of the burliest waterpipes in the shivadas line: The G10. I personally don’t need anything larger than this 13-inch tube, and the G10 is as thick as they can get, so it has an incredibly weighty feel in the hand. Its volume is plenty big for my lungs, especially when paired with an ashcatcher. The ashcatcher really helps keep a tube like this clean. It’s super-easy to rinse out a little ashcatcher, and when you have a waterpipe with multiple percolation chambers, it’s good to keep the gunk out of the main piece, if possible. A nightly rinse of an ashcatcher-protected waterpipe is pretty much all you need to keep your smoking experience fresh. Read the rest of this entry »
